This BBQ surround and bench seat were made from the recycled timber that was originally used to construct the patio. Once the 20 years worth of paint was removed and the timber redressed it came up beautifully. A heat shield barrier of compressed sheeting was used around the BBQ to protect the timber surround, and more storage space was created by making the seat hinged.
